Serving under General Daigle was a great learning experience. He had the unique ability to press you beyond your preconceived limits. I truly enjoyed the many years I served under him. His leadership as The Adjutant General could not have come at a better time. The Guard is more effecftive today due in a large part to his efforts. He will be missed.

Debra, Stephen, Jane and Arthur,

I just heard about your dad's passing. I am so sorry! I've lived out of state for almost 20 years now and didn't know that Aunt Jeannette had passed away too. I have such fond memories of both, I remember your mom laughing and your dad with a big cigar in his mouth! He's the only person my mom would let smoke in our house! I'm sad to think how many years it has been since I saw them last. I hope it gives all of you a sense of peace knowing how wonderful both your parents were and how fondly they are remembered.

Best Wishes to the entire family,
Vanessa Nelson Hersh

Our thoughts are with the family. In reading the summary of all of Uncle O.J.s accomplishments it is remarkable one man acheived so much. I was always proud of Uncle O.J. but didn't know the half of it. May he find peace and reunite with Aunt Nette and friends. Love to all the family. Patty Waguespack Cannon
