Peggy Ruth (Kelley) Windham Couvillon, age 80, passed away on February 5, 2014 at University Health Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born in Baton Rouge, LA on August 14, 1933 to Leon L. (Jake) and Beatrice (Courtney) Kelley. She graduated in 1951 from Istrouma High School in Baton Rouge, LA. Before moving to Magnolia she worked for Elthyl Corporation in Baton Rouge, LA. She was a longtime member of Asbury United Methodist. Peggy will be missed dearly and remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her parents and one granddaughter, Hope Windham. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, David Couvillon of Magnolia, AR; one sister, Sadie K. Foshee and husband, Curtis of Baton Rouge, LA; her children, Allison W. Simpson & husband, Bobby of Baton Rouge, LA; David L. Windham, SR & wife, Valerie of Baton Rouge, LA; Daryl W. Windham & Donna of Kenner, LA; Donnie W. Couvillon of El Dorado, AR and Joanie C. O'Burke of Beaumont, TX; nine grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11:00am Saturday, February 8, 2014 at Asbury United Methodist Church with Bro. Mike Daniel officiating under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home in Magnolia, AR.
