Raynold Joseph "Squirrel" Decoteau

Raynold Decoteau Obituary

A retired contractor, Army veteran and resident and native of Gonzales, he died at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 5, 2010, at his home. He was 76. Visitation will be held at St. Mark's Catholic Church in Gonzales on Saturday, May 8, from 8 until funeral Mass at 10 a.m. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, JoAnn Rheams Decoteau; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Lyle and Angelia Hoffpauir Decoteau, and Davy Decoteau; a daughter and son-in-law, Suzette and Mac Haik; two sisters, Diana Dubois and J'nette Guedry; a brother-in law, Louis Rouillier; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Manuel and Madeline Decoteau, and Byron and Debbie Decoteau: and five grandchildren, Cody Decoteau, Jada Decoteau, Kash Decoteau, Cort Decoteau and Cassie Decoteau. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Edna Villar Decoteau; and sister, Myrna Decoteau Rouillier. Special thanks to Canon Hospice. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the charity of your choice.
