Robert James "Bob" Brian, 75, a life-long resident of Slaughter, LA, died at his home on Thursday, January 3, 2013. He was retired, after working for the Department of Transportation for over 35 years. Visitation will be at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. in Clinton on Sunday, January 6, 2013 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and then on Monday, January 7, 2013 from 9 a.m. until service time at 10 a.m., conducted by Bro. Burnie Schmidt. He is survived by five daughters: Elizabeth Bradham and her husband James Michael Bradham of Clinton; Debbie Dwire and her husband Barry Dwire Sr of Slaughter; Patty Nelson and her husband Norman Nelson of Slaughter; Laura Feierabend and her husband Anthony Feierabend of Slaughter; Jennifer Dee Bruhl and her husband Chuck Bruhl of Slaughter; one sister, Allie Edwards and her husband Johnnie of Woodville, TX; one brother, Pete Brian of Slaughter; 11 grandchildren: Bobby Wascome, Barry Dwire Jr., Christine Hayden, Kimberly Quick, David Nelson, James Nelson, Justin Nelson, Andrew Feierabend, Alex Feierabend, Joshua Lagasse, and Emily Bruhl; 13 great-grandchildren: Ayden, Austin, Ashton, Jessica, Wade, Erika, Garrett, Christopher, Wesley, Dillon, Haley, Kryssa, and Brennan; and great-greatgrandchild Zoey. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Dewitt and Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Brian; brother David Brian; and sister Gladys Marie Wilson. Pallbearers will be Bobby Wascome, Barry Dwire Jr., Andrew Feierabend, Alex Feierabend, Joshua Lagasse, David Nelson, Chuck Bruhl, and James Nelson.
