Ruby Mae Honea Lea Obituary
Ruby Mae Honea Lea, 88, went to join her Lord and all her beloved family and friends on Thursday, September 26, 2013. She is survived by her six children, Patricia Lea Watson and husband Everett, Norma Lea Erwin and husband Tom, Thomas M. Lea and wife Dru, Charlene Lea Belk, William E. Lea, and Julie Lea Luquette and husband Jeffery; sister-in-law, Opal Honea Lanier; eight grandchildren, Nicole W. McGehee, Jeffrey B. Francis, Patrick H. Lea, David B. Belk, Stephanie L. Belk, Kaelyn L. LeBlanc, Keaton G. Lea, and Konner J. Lea; three great-grandchildren, Collin, Noah, and Darby Rose. She is preceded in death by husband, Hampton M. Lea, Jr.; parents, Leon T. Honea and Lillian S. McGehee; infant son, Hampton M. Lea, III; siblings, John N. Honea and Phyllis H. Slaton; and granddaughter, Amanda Nicole Kalivoda. A graveside service will be held at 2 pm on Monday, September 30, 2013 at Magnolia Cemetery, 350 S Prewett St., Magnolia, Mississippi. Ruby was a long time faithful member of Southside Baptist Church and will be missed by all who knew her. A special thanks to Fidelis Residential Care Home and the loving ladies who took such great care of our mom.
