To My Dearest Uncle Stephen,
You and I had a bond that many were never aware of, my fondest memories of you will be in your last weeks. Even in your sickness you talked of better days ahead. You never gave up, everyday you said, tomorrow would be better. You were right, your tomorrow is better, you are now in a place that only us here on earth can imagine. You are surrounded by mansions of gold, you are reunited with your parents, and you are with Jesus. Now we must all wait until we are reunited again. I will carry your memory always, and tell my funny stories of you. Look after me, and your boys.
I love you more than you can imagine.
Your Neice,
Ryan Crotwell

From you I learned to never be scared of things in the dark that aren’t even there.
From you I learned to accept my mistakes and take responsibility for the choices I make.
From you I learned that when I am right to never breakdown no matter how hard the fight.
From you I learned when to walk away,
From fights that prove nothing no matter what people say.
From you I learned the best way to show love can sometimes be done with a kiss and a hug.
From you I learned that the color of ones skin has no bearing on what lies within.
From you I learned to always lend a hand to someone in need, or a neighborly friend.
From you I learned that money’s only green and to never let it make me selfish or mean.
From you I learned how to use my hands to build me a home or make castles of sand.
From you I learned that sometimes it rains but if I want to succeed I must struggle through the pain.
From you I learned I’ll get a good night’s rest, if I go to bed knowing I did my best.
From you I learned that it’s ok to cry and when things seem awful I still have to try.
From you I learned how to be a man that in everything I do I give all that I can.
Dad, I want you to know that you lit the spark of honor and compassion that I find in my heart.
I love you Daddy, You will always be with me.

Only The Best
A heart of gold stopped beating,
two shining eyes at rest,
God broke our hearts to prove,
He only takes the best.
God knows you had to leave us,
but you did not go alone,
for part of us went with you,
the day He took you home.
To some you are forgotten,
to others just part of the past,
but to us who loved and lost you,
the memory will always last.
I love you Uncle Stephen. You will missed.

There will be a day, with no more tears, no more pain and no more fears. There will be a day, when the burdens of this place, will be no more and we'll see Jesus face to face....words by Jeremy Camp-Christian musician...I hope this day finally came for you. Rest in Peace.
