Romans 8:38, 39. Our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and sister passed away peaceably on Monday, February 25, 2013 with her daughters holding her. She was born on April 30, 1925 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to the union of Earl and Frieda Watson. She loved the Lord and that devotion shaped her family. She treasured her family and found in them great joy. Her priorities were God, family, church and friends. She was a woman of great faith, courage and strength. She began work as a book keeper at 16 years of age and continued in that career until her retirement. She is survived by daughters and their spouses: Vickie and Monther Batarseh, Sharon and Bobby Compton and Candy and Ronnie Bourgeois. Surviving grandchildren and spouses: Brent and Tracy Bourgeois, Robert McClaren, Lance and Ellen Bourgeois, Dehia and Robert Crusta and Jordan Batarseh. Surviving great grandchildren: Jonathan McClaren, Madison McClaren, Cole Bourgeois, Taylor Bourgeois, Mason Bourgeois, Anna Katherine Bourgeois, Kayley Crusta and Kyndall Crusta. Surviving great great grandchild: Ashlyn McClaren. Surviving siblings: Elmer Watson, Don and Noel Watson, Donna Marie Watson. Preceded in death by her parents Earl Watson and Frieda Watson, brother Richard Watson and grandson Layth Batarseh. She has donated her remains to the LSU School of Medicine. A memorial celebration of her life will be held at Victory Harvest Church, 3953 North Flannery Road, Baton Rouge, on Thursday, March 14. Visitation will be at 5 p.m. and service following at 6 p.m., officiated by her grandson, Dr. Lance Bourgeois. Sincere appreciation to Dr. Harold Brandt for taking exemplary care of her for 30 years and to Hospice in His Care for the last weeks of her life. In lieu of flowers donations may be given to
