Vivian Rose Saik Betrous, 93, a native of Jackson, Miss., passed away Monday, April 25, 2011. She resided in White Castle for the past eight years with her niece, Melvena Dahduh Francise, Melvena's husband, Dr. Mike Francise and their children. Vivian was a bookkeeper and receptionist at Jackson Heart Clinic before retiring. She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, Mike and Nafie Katool Saik; husband, G.F. Betrous; sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth and George Dahduh; brothers and sisters-in-law, George and Dorothy Saik and Ellis and Katherine Saik; sister-in-law, Lillian Saik; and niece, Patricia Mize who were all of Jackson. The family would like to give a special thanks to Michael and John Barbee and their staff at Comfort Care Hospice, especially Kelly and Liz. Special thanks also to her additional caregivers, JoAnne Delone, Dorothy Washington and Kathy Parsons. Visitation at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, White Castle, on Saturday, April 30, from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Interment in church cemetery.
