Nolan Arthur Soileau, Jr., 65, "Brother", a resident of Tylertown, MS, died on Saturday, February 8, 2014. He was retired, after working for the Baton Rouge Police Department Motorcycle Patrol for five years; followed by T.D. Williams, where he worked for 6 years; and finally Exxon, where he worked in Refinery Security for over 17 years. He was a native of Dupont, LA. Visitation will be at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. on Thursday, February 13, 2014 from 11am until Masonic Rites at 1pm and funeral services at 1:30pm, conducted by Rev. Greg Davis. Burial will be at Louisiana National Cemetery. He is survived by three daughters, Catherine Lynn Page and her husband Jorn Patterson Page of Zachary; Jessica Ann Soileau of Zachary; and Jaclyn Renee Soileau of Oakland, TN; two sisters, Evelyn Scallan of Mansura, LA and Doris Galigos and her husband Nick of Denver, CO; two brothers, Warren Soileau Sr. and his wife Shirley of Bogue Chitto, MS; and Michael Soileau and his wife Tabby of Galiano, LA; brother-in-law Rapheal Tassin of Dupont, LA; three grandchildren: Courtney Elizabeth Page, Aaron Michael Page, and Nalon Averie Soileau; and 17 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Nolan Soileau Sr. and Joyce Soileau; his sister, Mary Louise Tassin and brother-in-law Tony Scallan; and nephew Lionel Firmin and niece Susan Firmin. Pallbearers will be Warren Soileau Sr., Warren Soileau Jr., Jamie Soileau, Mike Guillot, Troy Tassin, Robert Cook Jr., Jason Gros, and Randy Anglin. He was a veteran of the US Army and he served in Vietnam. He was a lifetime member of the Trinity Union Lodge #372 F. & A. M., where he was a 32nddegree Mason and joint member the Silver Creek Masonic Lodge of Tylertown, MS. He was a member of the Corvette Club of Baton Rouge. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to support the children-whom he loved dearly and who all knew him as Paw Paw Nolan, at Zachary United Methodist Church's Little School.
