Isaiah 43:1-4. He passed into heaven on Monday, February 10, 2014 surrounded by family at 71 years of age. He was born on October 19, 1942, a native of Baker, Louisiana and resident of Zachary, Louisiana for 43 years. He was an active member of Zachary Community Church and veteran of the U.S. Air Force Reserves. Visitation at Charlet Funeral Home in Zachary, Louisiana, Thursday, February 13, 2014 from 4 pm until religious services at 7pm, conducted by long-time friend and fishing buddy, Rev. David Murray and Friday, February 14, 2014 at Charlet Funeral Home from 11:30 am until interment at 1:30 pm at Roselawn Memorial Park, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Betty Joan Yoes Richardson and children Kellye D'Nean Richardson Pace, husband Tommy, Zachary, Darren Terry Richardson, wife Wendy, St Francisville, Hunter Melvin Richardson, Baton Rouge and Byron Patureau, son-in-love, Baton Rouge. He is also survived by half-sister Stella Richardson Nelson and step-sister Claudette McManus. Known as "Paw Paw T," he is survived by six grandchildren, Blake Thomas Pace, Lane Christian Pace, Ashley Nicole Richardson, Mason Chandler Pace, Payton Terry Richardson and Evan Michael Pace. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pearlie Mae Hodgeson Hale, husband Charlie T, and Delton Bateman Richardson, wife Lydia. Pallbearers will be Darren Richardson, Blake Pace, Lane Pace, Mason Pace, Payton Richardson, and Evan Pace. Honorary pallbearers will be Melvin Darryl Yoes, Tommy Pace, Hunter Richardson, Byron Patureau and Ashley Richardson. The family would like to express a special thanks to Dr. Michael Castine, Dr. William Russell, St. Joseph Hospice, Cancer Services of Baton Rouge and countless friends and family for their care and support.
