John Albin Lieux age 73 died on Tuesday Feb. 11, 2014 in Gonzales, LA. surrounded by his loving family. John was a native of New Roads, LA. and a resident of Prairieville, LA. . John was a retired attorney from the law office of John A. Lieux Attorney at Law . A Memorial Gathering will be held at Ourso Funeral Home- 13533 Airline Hwy.- Gonzales, LA. on Thursday Feb. 13, 2014 from 10 AM until a Life Celebration Service to be held at 2 PM with a eulogy to be give by the Honorable Judge Ralph Tureau. Mr. John is survived by his loving wife of 37 yrs. Laverne McCrory Lieux of Prairieville, LA., 1 Son and Daughter-in-law; John "Charlie" and Lauri Lieux of St. Amant, LA., 2 Step Daughters and Spouses- Toni and Richard Boe, Amy and Derek Solar- all of Gonzales, LA .and 1 Step Son and Spouse-Kurt and Nancy Malbrough of Prairieville, LA. . 3 Sisters- Sister Bertrand "Rita Ann" Lieux,C.S.J., Sister Beth Lieux, C.S.J. , and Mrs. Magda Lieux Bonnette. 3 Brothers- Ted, Edward and Ralph Lieux. 9 Grandchildren- Leighton Greene, Shaun Laiche, Ryan, Brandt and Aleigh Solar, Landen and Alaina Lieux, Kori and Kameron Malbrough and his beloved Milleigh. Mr. John was preceded in death by his parents- J. Bert Lieux and Azema Lorio Lieux, 2 Sisters- Frances Lieux Dabadie and Cile Lieux Roy. 2 Brothers-Bert Lieux, Jr. and Charles Lieux. Mr. John was a 1967 Graduate of the Louisians State University School of Law and also an avid duck hunter and fisherman. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to -One St. Jude Bldg., P.O.
