A native of Tickfaw and resident of Baton Rouge passed away at 3:27 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 9, 2014 at North Point Health Care Center. She was 79 and a retired employee of LSU Vet School Food Service. Visiting at Saintsville Church of God in Christ on Monday, Feb. 17 from 9 am until service at 10 am, conducted by Elder Kenneth McKnight. Interment in Winnfield Memorial Park. She is survived by her daughter, Charrissie Fields Thompson; sister, Brenda L. Primas; brothers, Rev. Isadore, Jr. and Joseph Primas; sisters-in-law, Billie Jean Lee and Katie Primas; grandchildren, Niki L. Fields, Baton Rouge and Sgt. Yobachi B. (Nicole) Fields, US Air Force, Ramstein-Mesenbach Germany; and three great grandsons, Malachi, Yobachi, Jr. and Ezra Fields. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Isadore and Ludy Mae Primas; husband, Eddie Grayson, Jr.; brothers, William, Charles and Henry Primas; sisters, Evelyn and Linda Primas; nephew, Nelson Primas; and sisters-in-law, Augustine and Joann Primas.
