Guy Camden Koontz Jr. Obituary
Guy Camden Koontz, Jr. was a loving son and wonderful friend. Camden was born January 7, 1972, and passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, February 27, 2014. He was born in Tampa but has been a resident of Baton Rouge since he was 7 years old and was a successful business owner for over 12 years. Camden enjoyed cheering for the LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints. Camden never met a stranger and had friends all over the country. He was always willing to do anything for his friends. Camden is survived by loving parents Guy & Bobbi Koontz, his beloved dog Nanuk, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents John D. and Helen "Heidi" Koontz and maternal grandparents James & Barbara Davis. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Smile Train in Camden's honor at PO Box 96231, Washington DC 20090-6231 or at their website www.smiletrain.org. "For we know that if the earthly tent which is our house is torn down, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens" 2 Corinthians 5:1.
