A wonderful mother, grandmother and sister, she passed away at 4:27 a.m. Monday, March 17, 2014, at The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice in Baton Rouge. She was 63, a native of Baton Rouge and resident of Livonia. Visiting at Faith Baptist Church, Livonia, on Wednesday, March 19, from 3 p.m. until religious service at 4:30 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Freddie Rodrigue. Interment in False River Memorial Park, New Roads. Survived by a daughter, Stacy Reed, of Livonia; stepdaughter, Deborah David, of Livonia; a son and daughter-in-law, Maurice and Tanya David, of Fordoche; two stepsons and stepdaughters-in-law, Terry and Lisa David, of FOrdoche, and Troy and Michelle David, of Ventress; two brothers and sisters-in-law, John R. "Scooper" and Kathy Pearson, of Central, and Troy and Jo Lynn Pearson, of Baton Rouge; five grandchildren, James Lastrapes, Shelby Reed, Cameron Reed, Greyson and Jayden David; three stepgrandchildren, Jordan and Danielle David, Thomas LeBlanc; and special friend, Margaret Langlois, of Denham Springs. Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Cecil David; and parents, JOhn R. Pearson Jr. and Joyce Pearson. Pallbearers will be Shane Lindsly, James Lastrapes, Cameron Bergeron, Alvin Lemoine, Maxie Theil and Windom Gueho. Honorary pallbearers are the 2013-2014 Livonia Wildcats Football Team.
