A native of Maringouin, La., and resident of Baton Rouge, La. The beloved mother, daughter and grandmother was 63 years old when went to her heavenly home on Thursday, March 20, 2014, at Baton Rouge General Mid-City Medical Center in Baton Rouge, La. She was an alumna of Thomas A. Levy High school, a former employee of over 20 years at Episcopal High School, and also former employee of Baton Rouge General and LSU. Visiting at Mt. Gideon Baptist Church, 77700 Westoak Ln., Maringouin, LA 70757, at ll:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 29, 2014. She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Martha Williams of Maringouin, La., her two daughters Felicia Parson of Baton Rouge, La., and Darla Parson of San Antonio, Texas, her two sisters, Louise Reed of Baton Rouge, La., Flora Jackson-Sykes of Sacramento, CA, her brother, Ferdinand L. Williams of Maringouin, La., four grandchildren: Alexis Parson, Dalon Nelson, Treylon Nelson, and Tayler Parson. Eight nieces, two nephews-in-laws, three nephews and a host of great-nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her father: David Williams, Sr.; her brother David Williams, Jr., and sister Martha Faye Williams-Anderson. Special thanks to her caregivers Ms. Gracie, Ms. Lillie, her nieces Barbara Gouchaux and Castrina Pittman, first cousin Ann Williams and cousin-in-law Julius Williams, her best friend Doris Marie Ventress, family, friends, neighbors, EMS Services, Baton Rouge General's Mid City Branch Hospital doctors and staff, and Walgreens at Hollywood and Airline Hwy Pharmacy staff, for all your love, care, help and support.
