Una passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at Old Jefferson Community Care Center at the age of 90. She was a resident of Bayou Pigeon and a native of Pierre Part, La. Visiting will be at Wilbert Funeral Home, Plaquemine on Thursday, May 15, 2014 from 5 to 9pm with a rosary at 7:30pm and will resume on Friday, May 16, 2014 from 11am to 1:30pm with Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Plaquemine at 2pm, celebrated by Rev. Greg Daigle. Interment will be at Grace Memorial Park. She is survived by daughters, Jeanette Guillot and husband T.J., Jr. and Carolyn Tate and husband Rev. Daryl Tate; son, Kenneth J. Vaughn; daughters in law, Cheryl Vaughn and Randy Vaughn; grandchildren, Donna Guillot Dispensire, Wanda Guillot, Melissa Vaughn Williams, Christine Vaughn Faust, Michelle Vaughn, Misty Vaughn Maraldo and Emily Tate; 11 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Linwood A. Vaughn; sons, Leland J. and Thomas P. Vaughn; parents, Clement and Laura Hebert Landry; sisters, Helen and Eunice Landry; brother, Ellis Landry; and a special grandmother, Amanda Hebert. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren; her first language was French and she enjoyed speaking in French to others. She also loved to cook, dance and work in her garden with her rose bushes.
