"..I do not consider my own life of any importance to me, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to bear thorough witness to the good news of the undeserved kindness of God." (Acts 20:24) "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith." (2 Tim. 4:7) "Well done good and faithful slave.." (Matt. 25:23) An apt description of the life lived by Ethel Louise "Peggy" Price, 82, as she peacefully and faithfully finished her 65 year ministry as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on May 16, 2014. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by 3 children and their spouses, Wayne and Rachel Price, Linda and Kim Jarreau and Cindy and Marc Cambre, 2 sisters Elizabeth McBrier and Frances "Pete" Wells, 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren. It was a life liven with grace though shadowed by pain from the loss of her precious 5 year-old daughter, Terri Lynn, in 1973 to the death of her mate of 60 years, Gary Joseph Price, in 2010. She spent 27 of those years selflessly caring for the needs of her paraplegic spouse, though always giving credit to Jehovah God for giving her the strength to do so. She never complained even though she was often overwhelmed by her own painful health issues. As she now peacefully sleeps awaiting the resurrection as promised in scripture, she will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. A loving thanks to all family and friends for your comforting visits and support. Visitation at Rabenhorst East on Sunday, May 18 from 5 -8 and Monday from 11 - 1.
