Avis Eveline Jones Hutchinson, born May 12th, 1923, age 91 went to meet Jesus Sunday morning at 12:32 am. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Central, LA, on Tuesday, Aug. 19, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation will resume at Wednesday, Aug. 20, from 8 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Sandy Creek Baptist Cemetery, Pride, LA. Survived by daughters; Anna Massey (Woody) Farris, Margaret "Sally" Massey (Presley) Hutchinson, Pamela Sue Hutchinson (Byron) Brumfield; and 2 sons James Lester (Mary) Massey and Harold Reuben (Carolyn) Hutchinson; grandchildren, Albert J. Mancuso, Sheila F.Arnold, Juanita F. Tompley, Melissa F. Hutton, and Wilbert Farris, Jr., Sabrina and Lester Massey, John, Frank, Richard, and Robert Hutchinson, Amanda Hutchinson McDonald, Bobby, Jason, Salem and Cassidy Brumfield, Ashley Hutchinson Bertrand, Michael and Cody Hutchinson; and numerous great and great-great grandchildren. Avis is a former member of the US Navy serving in World War II. She retired from the Nursing Staff of Earl K. Long Memorial Hospital in Baton Rouge. Preceded in death by Husbands, Lester J. Massey and George P Hutchinson; daughter, Mary Cecile Massey Mancuso; granddaughter, Rosalie Connie Mancuso; and her parents, John Wesley Jones and Mary Ambrosha Price; 2 sisters, Althea Aurilla, and Alma Ethel Jones (Dennis); and 4 brothers Woodrow, James, Junior, and Albert Jones.
