Peggy Joyce White Bergeron passed away at 8:40 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2010, at the Baton Rouge General Medical Center-Bluebonnet. She was 72, a native of New Orleans and resident of Baton Rouge. Visitation at Live Oak United Methodist Church in Watson on Friday, Feb. 5, from 2 p.m. until memorial service at 4 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Mark Crosby. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, the Rev. Tommy Ray Bergeron Sr.; daughter and son-in-law, Reneé and Larry Berkowitz; two sons and daughters-in-law, Tommy and Melissa Bergeron, and Brian and Shannon Bergeron; brother and sister-in-law, Joseph Jr. and Dolores White; grandchildren, Emily, Elizabeth, Sara, Samantha, Jaci, Jodi, Alyssa and Abbie; niece, Christina; nephew, Michael; and best friend, Melanie Gonzales. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph J. Sr. and Edna Marie Pourciau White. She was a member of Live Oak United Methodist Church in Watson.
