A retired truck driver, he died at 2:40 p.m. Saturday, May 8, 2010, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center-Mid City. He was 67, a resident and native of Baton Rouge. Visiting at Desselle Funeral Home on Saturday, May 15, from 8 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Leo Cyrus. Survived by his daughters, Sharon Moore, Melvia Richard, Lorraine Milton, Emily Milton, Natasha Milton-Joseph and Tracy Moore; sons, Alvin Reed, Troy Milton and Nathaniel Moore Jr.; sisters, Shirley Williams, Lynn Moore, Trish Moore and Pam Moore; brothers, Don Spurlock, Jessie Spurlock and Freddie Bell; uncle, Jessie and Alberta Bell; and 38 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his mother, Bertha Mae Bell; father, William Moore; brother, Charles Spurlock; and sister, Crystal Ford. Pallbearers will be Joseph Bennett, Eddie William, Howard Lee Jr., Joe Quiet, Avondale Jackson and Terrance Joseph. Honorary pallbearers are Don Spurlock, Jessie Spurlock, Freddie Bell, Troy Milton, Nathaniel Moore Jr. and Clarence Alvin Reed.
