Percy Paul Landry, 78, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2010, at his residence. He was an active member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, where he served as an usher and helped out at the church fairs. He took care of the Knotts subdivision drainage pumps for many years. He was also an active member of the Pierre Part Volunteer Fire Department and served as a member of the Emergency Rescue Squad. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Ann Aucoin Landry; two daughters, Marlene Landry Theriot and husband Donald Jr., and Nadine Benoit; son, Michael Landry Sr.; five grandchildren, Brent Gros Jr. and wife Jessica, Brandon Gros and wife Alaina, Michael Landry Jr. and wife Sharon, Nicholas Landry, and Britney Landry; stepgrandson, Robert Landry Jr.; four great-grandchildren, Abigail "Abby," Brayden and Austin Gros, and Aubrey Landry; sister, Ameline Breaux; and four brothers, Jerry Landry and wife Edna, Philip Landry Jr., Henry Landry and wife Josephine, and Eddie "Lou" Landry and wife Gloria. He was preceded in death by his parents, Philip Landry Sr. and Cynthia Breaux Landry; mother and father-in-law, Walter and Essie Aucoin; son-in-law, Robert Benoit; brother, Calvin Landry; and brother-in-law, Herbert Breaux. Visitation will be held on Thursday, Dec. 16, at Ourso Funeral Home, Pierre Part, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Pierre Part, at 1 p.m. Entombment in Sacred Heart Cemetery Mausoleum, Belle River.
