Mary Tillman, a resident of Denham Springs, passed away Friday, March 11, 2011, at Golden Age Nursing Home. She was 83, a native of Laurel, Miss., and a member of First United Methodist Church of Baton Rouge. Memorial visitation at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, on Saturday, March 19, from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. Survived by her sons, John Stephen Tillman and his wife, Beverly, of Fort Worth, Texas, Thomas David Tillman and his wife, Janet and Timothy Hayden Tillman and his wife, Carol, all of Denham Springs; grandchildren, Jennifer Tillman Waldrop and her husband, Chad, Michael David Tillman and his wife, Holly, Heather Tillman Wronko and her husband, Abram, Jessica Tillman Guidry and her husband, James, John Hayden Tillman, Robyn Elizabeth Tillman, Randy Weinberger and Stephanie Stokes; great-grandchildren, Caroline, Marissa and William Waldrop, Kaitlyn, Hannah and Hudson Wronko, Joseph and Noah Guidry, Anna-Belle Hostettler and Jacques DeJean; two sisters, Gladys McDaniel, of Mount Olive, Miss., and Bonnie Carter, of Zachary; sister-in-law, Minnie Lee Farnham, of Monticello, Miss.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband of 58‰ years, John T. Tillman Jr.; parents, Joseph H. and Rhoda Pitts Farnham; brother, Wilson E. Farnham, who was of Monticello; and sister, Irene Strahan, who was of Kenner. In lieu of flowers, Ms. Tillman requested that memorial donations be made to the church of your choice.
