Robert L. Schorr Sr., a resident of Folsom and native of New Orleans, died Sunday, Nov. 13, 2011, at his home. He retired from ExxonMobil Chemicals with 29 years service, having worked in the Olefins Division as the operations construction coordinator. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in the Military Intelligence 513th Group. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., Tuesday, Nov. 15, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., with the rosary recited at 7 p.m. Visitation at St. Isidore Catholic Church, Baker, on Wednesday, Nov. 16, from 10 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Frank Bass, celebrant. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. He is survived by three sons, Robert L. Schorr Jr., Dr. Karl E. Schorr and wife Charlotte, and Dr. Stephen J. Schorr and wife Natalie; brother, Henry Robert Schorr and wife Gaile; sister, Mary Cecilia Schorr; five grandchildren, Hannah Schorr, Mia Schorr, Tessa Schorr, Ava Schorr and Alyssa Schorr; and longtime companion, Ms. Marcelle Masson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Mary Abbott Schorr; and his wife, Wynona Ann "Nonie" Pourciau Schorr.
