A retired construction worker and a Navy Veteran. A native and a resident of Donaldsonville. He died on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at Prevost Memorial Hospital. He was 78. Visiting at Demby & Son Funeral Home, Inc. Donaldsonville. from 5-7p.m. on Wednesday, November 14. Visiting continues at St. Matthews Full Gospel Baptist Church, Donaldsonville at 9 a.m. on Thursday, November 15 until religious services at 11 a.m., conducted by Rev. Harold Brooks, Sr. Interment in the Protestant Cemetery. Edward leaves to cherish his memories 4 stepsons, Anthony Nicholas, Shawn, Cedric, and Alec Fleming; three sisters Vivian Sims DeBose, Shirley Williams and Deborah Irving and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Ollie M. Campbell and Paul Bell, Sr.. brothers Clarence Bell, Sr. and Paul Bell, Jr., sisters Marvastine Bell Joseph and Augustine "Bay-Bay" Donaldson, a devoted friend Joyce Ann Fleming and a stepson Patrick Fleming. He was a graduate of Lowery High school and he enjoyed teaching Bible Study at his church.
