Marianne Lucille Savoy Webre, 80, passed away at her residence in Donaldsonville surrounded by her family. She was a native of Barton and resident of Donaldsonville. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Denis J. Webre, Sr.; daughter and son-in-law, Sheree W. and Douglas A. Schexnayder, Sr. ; two sons and daughter-in-law, Denis J. Webre, Jr. and Sally Schexnayder Webre, and Todd M. Webre; four grandchildren, Derek Webre, Dayna Webre Aysen, Blaine Landry, and Michel Landry Casso; two step grandchildren, Douglas Schexnayder, Jr. and Amy Schexnayder; and eight great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, Stone J. Savoy, Sr. and Mae Diez Savoy; two brothers, Stone "S.J." Savoy, Jr. and Raymond "Ham" Savoy; four sisters, Stella S. Simoneaux, Rita S. Comeaux, Bernice S. Boudreaux, and Margaret S. Hernandez. Pallbearers will be Blaine Landry, Derek Webre, Jason Casso, Jay Aysen, Dwight Wright, and Doug Schexnayder, Jr. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 11, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church until Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 p.m. Entombment to follow at church mausoleum.
