Peter Hunter Breslin, born December 5, 1983, 29 years of age, a student at Southeastern, has left us to join his brother and grandparents in God's presence. Hunter's impact on those left behind is evident in the numerous postings on Facebook. Family survivors include his mom, Denise; dad, David; sister, Libby; brother-in-law Brad; nephew, Brennan; and niece Emma. He is also survived by many cousins including, Tom, Michael, Bobby and Paula, Katie and Joe, Amy and Marco, Julia and Matthew, Tommy and Jessica and Kathleen. Hunter's adopted family, the Washington Artillery, with whom he served in Iraq, has lost a true soldier. He is a perpetual member of that organization's Veterans Association. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the Funeral Services at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. (in Metairie Cemetery) on Monday, February 25, 2013, at 2:00 PM. Visitation Sunday evening from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Monday afternoon from 12:00 Noon until funeral time. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that you pass on a kind word, smile at a stranger and give time to others patiently. This is the way Hunter lived his life. Hunter will live on as an organ donor. To view and sign the guestbook, visit www.lakelawnmetairie.com.
