He was 84 years old and is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Neva Cecile Ducote Coulon; his children, Kermit J. Coulon, Jr. and wife, Pamela; Dwayne Paul Coulon and wife, Ann; Karen Ann Kitterman and husband, Jeff; Kerry J. Coulon, and Eric G. Coulon. He had 8 grandchildren: Dewey Coulon, Christian Coulon, Cody Coulon, Sandra Coulon, Dusty Coulon, Sammie Kitterman, Abbey Coulon, and Michael Coulon, and 5 great grandchildren. He was a member of the Louisiana 4-H Hall of Fame, and recipient of the Melvin Jones Fellow of the Lions. Kermit loved his family, friends, community and everything LSU. He was widely loved and will be missed by many. Visitation will be on Friday, March 22, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Rose Lynn Funeral Services, 1870 Cabanose Ave., Lutcher, LA. Visitation will resume at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gramercy on Saturday, March 23, 2013 from 8:30 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Paulina, LA. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Louisiana 4-H Foundation, LSU AgCenter, 102 Efferson Hall, 110 LSU Union Square, Baton Rouge, LA 70803.
