Beulah Johnson Ward went to be with the Lord on May 27, 2013 at Pointe Coupee Healthcare in New Roads, La. She was born on June 29, 1926 in Evans, La. She was the youngest of five children. She married Roy Virgil Ward on February 18, 1948 and they were married for 57 wonderful years. She was a loving homemaker, a great cook, and gracious hostess. Beulah was an accomplished seamstress and worked at D.H. Holmes in alterations for several years. She also owned "B's Beauty Salon" and helped with her husband's realty business. She selflessly donated her body to Science so that others may learn. They are preceded in death by two precious grandsons: Andrew Caleb Morsey and Colin Lee Jackson. They are survived by their two daughters: Sherrie Ward Morsey and husband, Butch; Brenda Ward Jackson and husband, Jerry; two grandchildren: Matthew Morsey and Minnie Jackson; two great-grandchildren: Jest and Piper Schertzer. Because of her devotion to family, her home was a warm and inviting haven for family and friends.
