Thomas was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and good friend to all who knew him. He was a native of Fort Adams, Mississippi and a resident of Morganza, LA. He passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at his home at the age of 82. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and self-employed until his retirement. He was also a member of Knights of Columbus. Visiting will be held at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Morganza on Saturday, October 12, 2013 from 9:00am until mass of Christian burial in the church at 11:00am. Burial will be held at the church cemetery. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 wonderful years, Dolores Tuminello D'Aquila; his seven children, daughters Ramona Henry and husband James; Deborah Guedry and husband Chris; Madeline Hollier; Elizabeth Bordelon and husband Donald; Cynthia Landry and husband Charles; and sons Cy D'Aquila and Thomas D'Aquila Jr.; 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; brother Jerome D'Aquila and wife Vickie; and sister in law Antoinette D'Aquila. Preceded in death by his parents Rosario "Cy" and Madeline D'Aquila; brother Vincent D'Aquila; nephew Roy Michael D'Aquila. Pallbearers are Steve Tramonte, Christopher Guedry, Hunter Bordelon, Charles Landry, Jr.; Thomas D'Aquila III and Paul D'Aquila. Honorary pallbearer is Jerome D'Aquila.
