Coach Foy was an excellent basketball mentor who always had an air of equanimity about himself. He guided BRHS to a state championship in 1968.
Best wishes to his loved ones.

I met with Coach Foy at BRJH where he coached BB and assisted Archie Paul I the other sports. We went to BRHS IN 1963 where he was BB coach and well liked for his personality as well as his BB teaching ability. Back in the days when the paddle was still used, he used to ask, "Want me to use right hand or left hand!" Oops- it was a trick; he was left handed! He help coach JV football at BRHS and helped with the Varsity as needed.
Coach Foy had eternal values and you knew where he stood about Christ. He impacted my life, just being around him. It's one of those things you value in retrospect. May God bless and protect his family members through these difficult days ahead. He influenced several hundred kids to get on the right path in life. Jack Chapman, Baton Rouge.
