Jay and the Twins,
Pam was an original: bright, smart, quick and sure-footed, I was delighted to have her as an ally on the Southside Civic Association Board of Directors for 15 years or so. She was a dynamo, and I'm so ad that she was taken so young.
Godspeed, my friend, I will see you soon.

Jay and kids, I am truly sorry for your loss. I had the privilege and pleasure to work with Pam for many years, sometimes under difficult and important circumstances. She was not only a very good and professional lawyer representing the interests of the people, more importantly she demonstrated absolute personal and professional integrity often under difficult circumstances that few would be aware of. That is a true test of character and integrity. We are all proud of Pam.

The CAAWS Board is devastated at the loss of our 15 year board member. Pam was the one who called me 13 years ago to ask if I would join the board.
Her seat will be difficult to fill. Her passion was working toward Spay/Neuter project. She will be missed.
My heart is with the family. I know she is at peace.

Pam's suite was next to ours when I was assistant editor of the Louisiana Register. I was impressed by her high intelligence and her industry. First thing in the mornings she was at full throttle while I tanked on coffee to overcome the yawning and blinking, and avail myself of the caffeine jump start. I ask Pam's family to accept my sympathy.

To Pam's family, I am shocked and saddened to hear about her passing. I volunteered and served with her on the board of CAAWS for many years. She was a very passionate and compassionate animal lover. She spoke for those creatures that could not speak for themselves. She worked hard to bring about positive change in the BR community. She will be missed.
