Coupel, Inez Dupuis Ponville A homemaker and a resident of Napoleonville for 31 years, she was entrusted to God's loving care on Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2006, in Napoleonville. She was 87 and a native of Brusly St. Martin. Visitation at Ourso Funeral Home, Pierre Part, on Wednesday, Nov. 1, was from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., with recitation of the rosary at 6 p.m. Visitation resumes at the funeral home Thursday from 8 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Pierre Part, at 10 a.m. Thursday, with the Rev. Clarence Waguespack officiating. Interment in Assumption Catholic Cemetery, Plattenville, with the Rev. Trey Nelson officiating the committal service. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Shirley Campo and Claude of Napoleonville; two sons and daughters-in-law, Laurey and Susan Landry Coupel and Jessie "Minou" Ponville and Alrina Mabile Ponville, all of Pierre Part; daughter-in-law, Dorothy LaCosta Ponville, Pierre Part; sister, Regina Mabile, Pierre Part; four brothers, Nolbert Dupuis, Pierre Part, Nolan Dupuis, Klotzville, Percy Dupuis, Brusly St. Martin, and Norris Dupuis, Pierre Part; 21 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. Preceded in death by her husbands, Clarence Ponville Sr. and Paul Coupel; sons, David Coupel Sr. and Clarence Ponville Jr.; grandson, Craig Ponville; sister, Irma Berthelot; parents, Zephyrin Dupuis and Ida Coupel Dupuis. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Jessie Ponville Jr., Jamie Ponville, Chase Coupel, David Coupel Jr., Troy Ponville and Travis Ponville.
