Margaret Stones was a wonderful Botanical Artist. I believe that the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery are holding working drawings by Margaret that were found with her collaborator Winifred Curtis's belongings sometime after her death. I have felt very uneasy about this and hope this message gets to you as part of honouring this wonderful artist. I would suggest contacting the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery.

My thoughts are with Elaine and her family on the loss of her aunt, the much-admired botanical artist, Margaret Stones. I will never look at Wahlenbergia without thinking of her.
