Brian J. Vura, 29, of Columbus, Ohio, died suddenly on July 3, 2013.
Brian was born July 7, 1983, in Lorain, where he was raised.
He graduated from Admiral King High School in 2001. He then attended Ohio State University. Columbus had been his home for the past 10 years.
Brian managed the Hang Over Easy Diner on the campus of Ohio State for the last five years.
He was an avid sports fan, loyal to the Cleveland Indians, Browns, Cavaliers, and the Ohio State Buckeyes. Brian enjoyed playing baseball, softball, and golf. He was an excellent cook. Brian was a loving son, brother, and uncle. He was a great person who enjoyed life to its fullest.
Survivors include his parents, Samuel and Kristen Aguayo (nee Vura) of Mandeville, La.; sister, Amber Aguayo of Lorain; grandparents, Charles and Lynda Wearsch of Amherst; three nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his fiancé, Shannon Napier of Columbus.
Brian was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, David Vura and Laura Hreha.
Friends may call Saturday, July 13 from 2 p.m. until the time of services at 6 p.m. at Hempel Funeral Home, 373 Cleveland Ave., Amherst.
