Gwendolyn Kay Hurst Hagan, 56, the wife of Larry Eugene Hagan of Beattyville, died July 10, 2013, at her home in Beattyville.
She was born July 4, 1957, in Versailles to Don and Boneva Hampton Hurst of Lawrenceburg.
She was a loving wife and mother and a member of the Beartrack Bible Church.
In addition to her husband and parents, Gwendolyn is survived by two sons, Samuel Hagan of Lawrenceburg and Joshua Hagan of Beattyville; one granddaughter Heather Shanks of Jeffersonville; two sisters, Debbie Johnson of Jamestown, Ohio, and Lisa Harris of Frankfort; one brother, Mark Hurst of Lawrenceburg; a sister-in-law, Carolyn Crager of Lawrenceburg; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Donations can be made to the Beartrack Bible Church/Kentucky Mountain Missions-New Chapel Fund in Beattyville.
Funeral services were held July 13 at Newnam Funeral Home. Interment was Saturday at the High View Cemetery in Chaplin.
