Randall Robinson

Randall Robinson, 86, of Lawrenceburg, widower of Julia "Dolly" Jones Robinson, died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center.
He was the son of the late Roy and Verna Currens Robinson. He was a farmer and attended Claylick Methodist Church. He served in the Navy during World War II.
He is survived by a daughter, Judy (Charles) Robinson, Salvisa; three sons, Eddie (Janet) Robinson, and Reggie (Peggy) Robinson, both of Lawrenceburg, and Stephen (Joann) Robinson, Mercer County; two sisters, Elberta Sea, Lawrenceburg, and Evelyn (Jess) McGee, Louisville; brother, L.H. Robinson, Lawrenceburg; eight grandchildren, Tim Robinson, Barry Robinson, Kevin Robinson, Klain Robinson, Derek Robinson, Dephanie Garrett, Autumn Boblitt and Julia Atkins; and 18 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Randall Stephen Robinson Jr., and Melvin Banner Robinson.
Funeral services were held Jan. 5 at Gash Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Jim Wheeler and Phillip Jones officiating. Burial followed in the Ebenezer Cemetery.
Casketbearers were Tim Robinson, Kevin Robinson, Klain Robinson, Barry Robinson, Corey Robinson, Brendon Robinson, Christian Robinson and Derek Robinson. Honorary bearers were Larry Robinson, Rodney Robinson, Richard Briscoe, Ronnie Robinson, Gregory Sea, Gary Riley, Anthony Robinson and Lynn Robinson.
