Arthur Nation, Jr., 78, died Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2013, at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center.

A native of Spencer County, he was preceded in death by his wife Margaret Webb Nation and his parents Arthur and Dollie Demple Jewell Nation, Sr.
Junior worked as a fork lift operator for General Electric for 40 years. He was a graduate of Spencer County High School, a member of Briar Ridge Christian Church in Mount Eden, and attended Fox Creek Christian Church in Anderson County.
Junior is survived by three children, Scott (Robin) Nation of Frankfort, Brad M. Nation of Lawrenceburg, and Becky (Brian) DeVore of Frankfort; five grandchildren, Stephanie Nation (Tom) Sorrell, Daniel (Crystle) Nation, Emily and Chris DeVore, and Trent Nation; two great grandchildren, Lizzie Sorrell and Dean Arthur Nation; four brothers and sisters, Randall (Rose) Nation of Spencer County, Phyllis (Harold) Thompson of Shelby County, Bruce Nation of Shelby County, and Karen (Larry) Lawson of Spencer County; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Nov. 2 at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Bro. Bo Sayre and Bro. Truman McClain officiating. Burial followed in the Briar Ridge Christian Church Cemetery in Mount Eden.
Pallbearers were Tom Sorrell, Daniel Nation, Brian DeVore, Wendell Nation, Steve Cornish and Larry Lawson.
