Death Notice

Betty Marie (Guthrie) Black, 89, died Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at her home.
Along with her husband, Bob Black of Lawrenceburg, Betty is survived by her three children, Michael David Black of Midlothian, Virginia, Robert Shawn Black and Shelly Ann Black Williams, both of Lawrenceburg; and her brother, David Guthrie of Centralia, Illinois.
Funeral services were Saturday, June 2, at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home. Bro. Steve Rucker officiated the service.
Burial followed in Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation was Saturday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are entrusted to Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.

Mary Grider
Davis, 65
Mary Grider Davis, 65, of Lawrenceburg, passed away Friday, June 1, at Willows of Hamburg in Lexington.
She was born on Dec. 23, 1952 in Barren County, to the late Robert Grider and Muriel Hume Grider who survives.
She was retired from Kentucky School Board Association in Frankfort as a Member Relations Specialist.
In addition to her mother she is survived by one daughter: Eliza Bortz and husband Sean of Nashville, Tennessee, one son: Nathan Davis and wife Amber of Lexington, and one sister: Elizabeth Greer and husband Jerry of Huntsville, Alabama.
She is preceded in death by one son: Seth Davis and one sister: Bobby Kay Grider.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 11a.m. at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville with Bro. Gary Emberton officiating. Graveside services were conducted at 2:30 p.m. CST at Fairview Cemetery in Bowling Green.
Visitation with the family was Monday, June 4, at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville. Visitation continued on Tuesday, June 5, 2018.
