Brenda Kay Martin Bowen, 64, of Lawrenceburg, died Sunday, May 5, 2013, at Frankfort Regional Medical Center.
She was the daughter of the late Ruel "Bud" and Gladys Drury Martin.
She was a member of Anderson Christian Church, Willing Workers Sunday School Class. She was a funeral director for Gash Memorial Chapel for 27 years and an employee of L & W Emergency Equipment for nine years. She was also a former hairdresser for Curlette Beauty Shop.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Calvin Hunt Bowen, Jr.; brother, Gary Martin, and his wife, Pam, all of Lawrenceburg; three sisters in law, Lula Euliano, Norma Jean Royalty and Bernice Thomas; brother-in-law, Raymond (Vena) Bowen, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 8 at 1 p.m. at Gash Memorial Chapel with Bro. Dan Lillpop, Bro. Brandon Dulaney and Lance Roe officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Wednesday.
