Daune Wayne Brown, 82, of Lawrenceburg died July 31, 2012, at Cestview Care and Rehabilitation, Shelbyville, Ky.
He was the son of the late Donald Allen and Edna Shouse Brown.
He was a member of the Episcopalian Church and Valley City State College professor in Valley City, N.D. He had a master's degree in fine arts from the University of Oklahoma. He served in the U.S. Army and Air Force in the Korean War and Vietnam.
He is survived by cousins Virginia (Harold) Carter, Mary Peyton, Nellie Woods, Betty M. Shouse, all of Lawrenceburg; and Darcus Beavers of Indiana.
