Doris Robinson Bryant, 87, widow of David Earl Bryant, passed away Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018 at Baptist Health Lexington.
Born Oct. 2, 1930 in Washington County, Doris was the daughter of the late Jesse Robinson and Ruby Green Robinson.
A 1949 graduate of Lawrenceburg City High School, Doris was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Joy Sunday School Class. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Rook Club at the Anderson County Senior Citizens. Doris worked 14 years at Texas Instruments in Versailles, 17 years at Anderson Discount Drug Store, 12 years at Wild Turkey Distillery, and 4 years at Talk of the Town.
Doris is survived by her daughters, Debra (Grant "Petie") Buntain and Donna (Scottie) Drury, both of Lawrenceburg; her grandchildren, David G. (Jennifer) Buntain, Todd M. Drury, Leony Barroso, and Ashley S. Drury; and her two great granddaughters, Madison Taylor Buntain and Reece Morgan Buntain; and her two beloved cats, Sunshine and Bailey.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, Feb. 6, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 7, beginning at 1:30 p.m. at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home. Dr. Robert F. Ehr and Bro. Paul Barrick officiating.
Burial will follow in Lawrenceburg Cemetery.
