Harvey Lee Sutton, 68, died Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at the home of his long time companion, Sarah Jeffries of Lawrenceburg.
He was born Jan. 8, 1944 in Anderson County as the son of the late George Davis and Ida Azel Robinson Sutton.
He was a retired 37 year employee of Florida Tile in Lawrenceburg and a member of the Westside Community Church. Harvey was known for his fishing, deer hunting and tremendous cooking.
He is also survived by two daughters, Melissa Hubert of Lawrenceburg and Mona Roberts (Craig) of Shelbyville; three grandchildren Schelma Lee Davis Sutton, Jacob Flora, and Monica Flora; two sisters Joyce Perry and Ann Hendren (Wendell); and four brothers Bobby C. Sutton, Carl D. Sutton (Lois), Jerry W. Sutton (Shirley), and Fred M. Sutton (Patricia).
Funeral services were held Aug. 4 at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Bro. Gene Young officiating. Burial followed in the Sutton Family Cemetery in Anderson County.
Pallbearers were Rodney Sutton, Craig Roberts, Davis Sutton, Eddie Hatchett, Anthony and Keith Jeffries.
Memorials are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
