Iona Stone Duncan Sullivan, 89, widow of William H. 'Freck' Sullivan, died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012.
She was born in Garrard County to the late Harry and Mary Sherrow Stone. She was former owner of Curlette Beauty Shop; a member of First Christian Church; and Eastern Star Hamilton Chapter #293.
She is survived by two sons, David (Suzanne) Duncan, Jacksonville, Fla.; Jerry (Ona) Duncan, Columbus, Miss.; two stepsons, Howard (Belinda) Sullivan, Harrodsburg, and Tom (Dana) Sullivan, Lawrenceburg; 12 grandchildren, and 29 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Homer and Max Stone.
Funeral services were held Sept. 29 at Gash Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jim Wheeler officiating. Burial followed in Lawrenceburg Cemetery.
