Jerry Wayne Waldridge, 63, died Monday, Nov. 11, 2013, at his residence.

He was born in Anderson County to the late Thirl and Geneva Taylor Waldridge.
He was a 1963 graduate of Western High School and retired from General Cable. He also worked as a master plumber for the Fayette County School System.
He is survived by his daughter, Heather (Deshawn) Dawson, Lexington; son, Michael Waldridge, Lexington; brother, Dennis Waldridge, Lawrenceburg; sisters, Betty (Robert) Buntain, Lawrenceburg, and Bonnie (Robert) Davis, Bardstown; grandchildren, Melody Devers, Isabella Dawson, Kayla McCord, Cindy Hopper, Jessica and Emma Grace Waldridge.
Including his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Waldridge.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Nov. 14 at 6 p.m. at Gash Memorial Chapel with Bro. Donnie Irvin and Bro. Kevin Buntain officiating. Visitation will be held Nov. 14 from 3-6 p.m.
Honarary casketbearers will be Ryan Davis, Joey Waldridge, Lucas Tipton, Dillon Walls, Glenn Walls and Janice Byrd.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Diabetics Foundation.
