John Barjuca, 83, died Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2014, following a brief illness.
The Guest Book is expired.
The son of George A. and Mary Barjuca, he graduated from Lincoln High School and Geneva College with a degree in business.
His family and friends will remember him as a great teacher, wonderful provider with a kind heart and gentle smile.
A consummate professional in his business life, he served 18 years with NCR, was promoted to regional sales manager and relocated to Lexington in 1971.
He was very proud of his Romanian heritage and of his service in the Air Force serving as Staff Sergeant in the Korean War.
While John will be deeply missed, we trust in God's perfect timing.
John is survived by his wife Betty Catlett Barjuca; a daughter, Stacy Brynn Barjuca of Fort Worth, Texas; two sons, Jon Christian Barjuca of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Jeffrey Barjuca of Lexington; two step children, Jane Ellen Presley (Don) of Pensacola, Fla., and Gordon C.
