Margaret Marie Crawford Garmon, 43, died Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012, at UK Medical Center in Lexington.

She is the daughter of Jerry D. and Sallie Ripy Crawford of Lawrenceburg. She is the granddaughter of the late Stanley and Margaret Crawford and E.W. and Nita Ripy, Jr.
Crawford worked as a dedicated RN, CHPN for Hospice of the Bluegrass. She was a 1987 graduate of Anderson County High School, attended Western Kentucky University, and a graduate of Midway College with a degree in nursing.
She and her family are members of the First Christian Church.
She is also survived by her husband of 15 years, David K. Garmon; two children, John Paul and Marlie Forbes Garmon; a brother, Jay E. Crawford (Cathy) of Lawrenceburg; two nephews, Joe Dan and Stan Crawford; mother-in-law Martha Blevins of Edmonton; two brothers-in-law, John Forbes Blevins (Meg) of New Orleans, La., and J.P. Blevins of Wilmington, N.C., and her beloved dog Pixie.
Funeral services were held Sept. 15 at First Christian Church with the Rev. James Wheeler and the Rev. Micki McHugh officiating. Burial followed in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Jon Melloan, Dusty Wainscott, Mike Riley, Mark Lilly, Eddie Russell and Bart Lewis.
