Oatney Drury Wells, 91, died Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013, at Heritage Hall Nursing Home.

She was the widow of H.C. Wells and was born June 9, 1922, in Mercer County to the late T.E. and Victoria Dennis Drury.
Wells was a homemaker and worked for nine years in the KY Historical Society gift shop in Frankfort. She was a member and served in the W.M.U. of Kirkwood Baptist Church. She also served on the Anderson Co. Burgoo Festival Committee.
Mrs. Wells is survived by two daughters, Brenda Wells Bedford of Morrow, Ga., and Gloria Dianne Wells and her companion Jerry Cammack of Lawrenceburg; three grandchildren, Victoria Sue Bedford of Jonesboro, Ga., Dirk William (Shelly Lee) Bedford of Memphis, Tenn., and Jacob (Diane) Bedford of Houston, Texas; four great grandchildren, Brandon Bedford, Xander William Lee Bedford, Della Lee Bedford and Skylar Wren Bedford. She was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, Oct. 2 at 11 a.m. at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Dr. Robert Ehr and Bro. George Dye officiating. Burial will follow in the Kirkwood Baptist Church Cemetery in Mercer County.
Pallbearers will be Dirk, Jacob, and Brandon Bedford, Burt Hahn, Bill Brown and Larry Yeager. Honorary bearers will be Truman Wells, Bobby Wells, Carl Hazelwood, Jimmy Sexton, Brownie Yeager, Jerry Cammack, Bill Bedford and Larry Briscoe. Memorials are suggested to Kirkwood Baptist Church Cemetery Foundation, 1955 Kirkwood Road, Salvisa, KY 40372.
