Robert Bond Cole, 90, Lexington, husband of the late Jenna Louise Ruth Cole, died Sunday, March 31, 2013, at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington.
He was born in Anderson County to the late William Burton and Lula Roach Cole.
He was a retired agent and station manager for Eastern and Comair Airlines for 33 years. He was one of the founding members of Kentucky Aviation History Roundtable, which became Aviation Museum of Kentucky; a member of First Christian Church; a 1940 graduate of Lawrenceburg City High School; and served in the US Army-Air Force during WWII.
He is survived by his children, Julie Cole Wilson (Brad), Ronald Hudson (Pamela) and Robert Bond Cole II (Teresa); grandchildren, Brian Hudson, Robyn Bodine, Evan Bond Cole, Lauren, Victoria, and Nicholas Wilson; great grandchildren, Aly and Taylor Moberly, and Drew Hudson.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 3 at 2 p.m. at the Aviation Museum of KY, Bluegrass Airport on Airport Road with Bro. John Ritchie and Bro. Don Wells officiating. Burial will follow in Lawrenceburg Cemetery with military honors.
