Wilma Wilson Brown Dean, 87, widow of Harold Lawrence Dean, passed away Jan. 10, 2018 at Signature Healthcare at Heritage Hall.
Born Dec. 28, 1930 in Anderson County, Wilma was the daughter of the late James Hansford "Hank" Brown and Nelchene Wilson Brown.
Wilma was a graduate of Lawrenceburg City High and worked for years as a retail clerk at the former Ballard's Drug Store and Klink's Drug Store in Lawrenceburg. She attended the Lawrenceburg First Christian Church and First Presbyterian Church. She had a tremendous love for horses and enjoyed attending horse sales and country music dances.
Wilma is survived by her cousin, Charles E. Wilson; her friends who were like family, Carolyn Crawford, Dana Nethery Rollings, and Terese Jones Webb; her sisters-in-law, Janice (IC) Phillips, Bruce Dunn, Joyce Sturgeon, and Rita (Rick) Cerrato; and her beloved cat, Putt Putt.
Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 15, beginning at 2 p.m.at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home. Pastor Dave Crawford officiated the service. Burial was in Lawrenceburg Cemetery.
Visitation was held prior to service on Monday.
Donations in memory of Wilma are suggested to Bluegrass Hospice Care, 663 Teton Trail, Frankfort, KY 40601.

So sorry to hear of Wilma's passing. She was in the room with my Aunt at Heritage Hall and it was a pleasure getting to know her. She will be missed by my family and my Aunt.

So sorry to hear of Wilma's passing. I haven't seen her for years but I enjoyed working with her at Klink's Drug Store years ago. She was a special lady.
