Ida Louise "Boo Boo" Hawthorne Warford, 76, passed away April 5, 2014 at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband William Davis "Onions" Warford, a son Jerry Michael Warford, and her parents Marvin and Mary E. Clark Hawthorne. She was raised by her late aunt and uncle, Jerry and Hattie Cox Colvin.
Louise was born May 6, 1937 in Anderson County and was a 1955 graduate of Western High School. She worked as a cook and waitress at Cammack's Grill and Country Kitchen, and cooked for Wednesday night church dinners. She also worked as a janitor for the City of Lawrenceburg and served on the Anderson Co. Burgoo Committee. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and former member of New Liberty Christian Church.
Louise is survived by a son, William "Davy" Warford, Jr.; three grandchildren, Tommy Johnson, Brandy Marie Warford, and Austin Michael Warford; two great-grandchildren, Emerson Lynn Johnson and Eliza Grace Johnson, all of Lawrenceburg; a half sister Virginia (Roger) Stevens of Mt. Washington; a half brother Virgil (Vickie) Hawthorne of Fern Creek; a special cousin Shirley Mulligan; an aunt Edith (Clinton) Springate; and an uncle James Hawthorne.
Funeral services were Tuesday, April 8 at First Baptist Church. Dr. Bob Ehr, Bro. Terry Cooper, and Bro. Bryan Proctor officiated. Burial followed in the Hebron Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Larry Hays, Steve Bowman, Mark Warford, Dave Booth, Neil Hicks, and Jimmie Dale Hawthorne.
Memorials are suggested to First Baptist Church TV ministry or New Liberty Christian Church.
